This Mockingbird was not shy...
quite the contrary, it really seemed it wanted to share all of it's pretty sides with me.
Slight movements, gentle tilts of the head, this bird was the perfect model.
It is a grayish brown songbird, sexes are similar.
The Mockingbird has an extraordinary vocal mimicry capable of imitating hundreds of sounds,
including other birds.
