Let It Snow

Good morning friends, it snowed at the shore, Saturday night into Sunday..
it stopped on Sunday around noon.
I could hardly contain my excitement!

This was the view when I woke up on Sunday morning, from our second floor bedroom.
I was so excited, took way too many pictures...it was such an awesome snow day!

It was the kind of snow that coated every branch of every tree.

We received 8 inches in total, much more than was forecasted.

Of course we went outside and I had to make a snow angel.

Don't dare ask how I got up, it wasn't pretty...I sure hope the neighbors were not watching.

The hubs sculpted our initials in a heart C & D.

It was so nice to have it snowing during the daytime, we went for a walk and had a snowball fight
which was super fun and a family tradition.

All bundled up...you can see the snow still coming down.

Our footprints,

our home...

and the snow blowing starts...
I am so happy to have that machine, and lucky to have the man behind it.
We have not had snow like this in a very long time...so I know I took way too many pictures.

Today's positive thought...
I can bring more light into my home...
- By making my space a reflection of my personality -
- playing upbeat music, making sure the house smells good with seasonal candles and scents -
- by bringing nature indoors, by nurturing the plants with natural light, watching them grow and bloom -
 - and by displaying trinkets here and there that have special meaning -

Hello Debbie,
You got a couple inches more than we got here. It is still here, it is so cold the snow is not melting. I like your snow angel, it is great to see you bundled up. I am used to seeing you in the flip-flops not the snow boots. Take care, have a wonderful day!

I LOVE that you made snow angels. What a fun post and what a fun thing. Very, very cool. Perfect way to embrace the winter. Loving it.

To answer your comment I think, if you're asking me if it was hard not to use words on Wordless Wednesday ... yes, it was hard. But I wanted to get it so I cheated a bit with words in the title but none in the post. I had to stop myself from adding more photos too!

lol.

Wow! That's a hefty load of snow! How pretty-we never get much here, but then I grew up in snow country and I'm kinda glad we don't.

I absolutely love all your pictures. They are gorgeous! Love your snow angels and I love your coat! Looks like you’ll keep nice and cozy. That snow machine is doing a great job, as is the charming gentleman pushing it. Of course behind every charming gentleman is a charming gentlelady and you two make a great team.

Wow you did get a lot of it and I too love when it hangs on the trees and bushes like that. We have just a little blower but we are thankful for it, helps a lot not to have to lift the snow.
