Seeing the Beauty in Cacti

When we visited the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, D.C.,
they had one room dedicated to Cacti
I did take some pictures of the beautiful plants and since I haven't gone anywhere lately
I'll share them with you here today.

 Good thing I save stuff - right?

    Hello Debbie, love the variety of cactus. I have never been to this Garden in DC, maybe in the spring. Love the last pretty flower. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

    I'm so glad you do save things! These are fascinating. I should probably have cactuses around my house because I'm pretty bad about watering...

    I love cactus (maybe being from the desert). Found not a good idea to have in the yard with my running-nuts pups.

    What amazing images of all those cactii!! I have a few small ones at home but nothing as impressive as those.

    It is just truly amazing to me the different plants that God has blessed us with.

    I remember seeing real cacti at the Phoenix Botanical Gardens. They were quite magnificent.

    Prickles galore! Imagine all the gorgeous flowers they produce (for one or two days). Beautiful photos.

    Ah yes, this is beautiful. I grew up spending time in the summer in Arizona where my grandfather lived. It was the best experience ever.

    Fascinating photos of Cacti; I enjoyed them. Having lived in Las Vegas, Nevada and traveled to Arizona to see our daughter we have looked at various Cactus. I loved this collection of them.

    I like them. My mom use to have a green house with lots of different cacti in it. It was fun to see the different varieties here.
