Saturday Critters ~ 160 ~

We had a dusting of snow and the birds were chirping at the window.
The feeders were empty - they have a way of letting me know, you know.
I got up and filled them, knowing they were hungry.
The feeders are suctioned cuped to the windows, so I don't have to go outside to fill them.
Opening the windows brought a bit of a chill into the house,
but the feeders quickly became
"Grand Central Station"
so I left them open and decided to take a few pictures.

Black Capped Chickadee

Red-Bellied Woodpecker

Ruby-Crowned Kinglet

Mr. Cardinal

Mrs. Cardinal

And I'm closing with Mr. Tufted Titmouse,

who always comes in closer when the camera comes out.

This is the easiest bird to photograph...

he watches me as much as I watch him!

  2. Hello, Debbie. I miss feeding the yardbirds. You have a nice variety of bird there. The woodie is a favorite. I am not positive but I think your Yellow Rumped Warbler may be a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Beautiful series of photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

  16. Gorgeous pictures, that is so cool that they come around when you have your window open, ours fly away when we come near the windows, I think the feeder is too close to the window for them. Love the woodpecker :)
