I am so happy I was able to go.
It's so fun when we all get together, 3 hours of talking and a little knitting...
perfect!!
I did run the credit card a few times also, there is nothing quite like alpaca yarn.

This week I started a Donnie Hat for a new friend that has mentioned she would love to have one.
This yarn is very rough, not comfortable to work with.
Once it is knitted up, it feels much better.
It is Sublime, Luxurious Aran Tweed
40% Wool, 40% Cotton and 20% Llama
Here's a close-up, the yarn has pretty blue flecks in it making the color unusual.
This is an easy knit, less paying attention than the wrap.
I am joining Ginny at Small Things
for Yarn Along
I like the colour of the hat ♥
ReplyDeleteit is a pretty yarn, if not smooth and friendly to work with. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty green, and I do like the blue flecks. Just looking at it makes me feel itchy though. Wool is not my friend.
ReplyDeleteHello, it is a pretty green. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteYarn and mine have to keep up.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Starting or joining a knitting group(s) is at the top of my list in 2017. Nothing better than gabbing and knitting. Xoxo Andrea @ This Knitted Life
ReplyDeleteJealous of your open knitting time at The Coop! I too would like to join a knitting group but am a teacher so daytime groups never work out. Like Andrea, I think I should make that a priority in 2017!
ReplyDeleteOh what a pretty place to knit and chat:)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Debbie. Its always hard for me to keep working if something doesn't feel good to my hands.
ReplyDeleteI really like the area you get to sit outside and enjoy. I am so glad you were able to go.
Debbie, color yarn is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour work is done perfectly.
Hugs and greetings.

ReplyDeleteWell, I must say "3 hours of talking and a little knitting..." sounds perfect to me too, except I can't knit!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed yourself.
All the best Jan
Sounds like a great time with fellow enthusiasts!
ReplyDeleteI can understand the "three hours of talking and a little knitting"!
ReplyDeleteThat must be fun to spend time with fellow knitters, work together, and chat! The hat looks like it will be a wonderful gift for this time of year!

ReplyDeleteoo pretty yarn, love the different coloured flecks
ReplyDeleteLove the way the blue complements the green! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLovely yarn, down here Alpaca is sometimes blended with merino. A Donnie hat, is that a pull on,or does it have a slouch at the back?
ReplyDeleteOh this will be lovely hat. I really love the colors. The green and touch of blue is beautiful. I can just picture a group of you all knitting and talking; a perfect moment of time. Blessings and hugs~
