Good Fences ~ Edition 137 ~

It was hot here on Sunday, 75 - 80 degrees hot.
I consider that hot for the end of October and for bike riding - otherwise, 75 degrees is nice. 
We brought the bikes to Spring Lake for a ride around the lake...it was warm but beautiful.
We don't have too much autumn color here yet, but it was enough, and the view was spectacular.








I can only guess that the skeleton tree "was" beautiful and lost all of it's leaves here.
How nice of the lake to preserve them for our viewing pleasure today.

My fence is a bit of a stretch, on the bridge, "stretching" across...
this safety rail is actually new and yet to be finished.
When completed, you will once again be able to ride the bridge over the lake!

    Beautifully captured, I just love when you see the reflection in the lake and that tree looks so cool, the shot of all the leaves in the lake is neat too, such a pretty area to ride your bikes, I so agree it is a bit warm for this time of year, we enjoyed a most wonderful evening eating outside at a restaurant near our kids home in St. Louis last night and it was just perfect temp, not to cold and not to hot :)

    Debbie these are wonderful. That is a super neat looking bridge (it qualifies to me as a fence) - Lovely fall colors. You really had a beautiful place for a bike ride.

    lol!!! I was counting the railing on the dock in one of my photos as a fence - they are, right? This looks like a fun bike ride - you got some great foliage and reflections along with the beautiful bridge fence!

    though 70s and 80's in october are not unheard of in oregon, they are very rare.
