Sharing the elephants from my Off Road Safari...
If you missed the details of that adventure, they can be found here.
I favored the elephants, they seem care free and easy.
Very loving to their offspring.
Fences to keep them in,
fences to keep everyone safe.
I loved this picture and the "slightness" of the fence!

Sharing today's necessary fences with my good friend

I love the elephants and the pretty tiger.. And I am glad there are fences to keep these animals inside and everyone safe.. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the photos from the safari! It's been way too long since I've seen an elephant!
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the big cats! So mighty looking and beautiful. But I like elephants, too. I've heard they are very good to their babies.

ReplyDeleteI agree, that image of the tiger is my favourite!!! The elephants are good, too!
ReplyDeleteI knew a woman who was once the elephant keeper at the Baltimore Zoo. She was less than 5 feet tall. She liked to surround herself with large animals, I guess, as she also had two Irish Wolfhounds. They are Big dogs! But so gentle.
ReplyDeleteNice and safe fences Debbie!
ReplyDeleteI love elephants and the tiger is so preety!Thank you for sharing !
Dimi...
Did you bring any of the B-Jay's peanuts for the elephant? Love your photos. The tiger looks hungry!!!!
ReplyDeletesweet creatures behind good fences. thanks, dear debbie!
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I've watched a lot of programs about elephants, and they are indeed very family oriented, and protective of their young and each other.

ReplyDeleteHugs to you!
Beautiful animals and necessary fences. I did miss the earlier article, so I'm off to follow your link to it. (We've been traveling too )
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous critters they are!
ReplyDeleteMy little grandie wants an elephant for his yard -- a real one. I don't think their fence is sturdy enough, though!
ReplyDeleteCool critters!
ReplyDeleteLovely animals. Better behind fences I think, :)
ReplyDeleteGreat fences! I love the shadow of the chain link on the wall behind the tiger, and that strong cord around the elephants! So glad you got to do this for your birthday! We went last year to Wild Animal Safari in N AZ and it was WONDERFUL! My pictures didn't come out, and I've never gotten the ones from my SIL's phone. Need to do that, and post it all! :-) I LOVE elephants! These are wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteI like these put a fence in front of awesome animals to meet and greet!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those elephants!
ReplyDeleteHow neat and fun. Love Elephants and of course "Big Cats" - I think they stole the show over the fences though.

ReplyDeleteI was watching the news last night.
Somewhere in a city. A lion leaped over a fence. I said to hubby is that a lion or is it my imagination.

Ah! Your header is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful set of photos. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI loved these pictures; I may nab them. The fences did look all that secure; but then I doubt an elephant would try to climb over.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
