    Debbie, you have captured the vibe of Great Adventure perfectly! I was there the summer of 2012. My first time in the wave pool. Even went down the tall water slide on a dare! Was so proud of myself!! I ain't no old mother-in-law! HA!

    My dad used to take my kids here in the summer when they'd come home to visit him...they loved the animals the most! I'm loving seeing all your posts, cause I used to hear a lot about this place...but have never been. And, let's just say, an 8 year old and a 5 year old don't take the best pics ever!

    Wowweee! What a trip indeed. I remember using that phrase a lot in the 70s. :) The first photo took my breath away.

    I don't do theme parks, but my kids have been to Great Adventure many times. Those rides freak me out. You're a brave soul, Deb!

    Wow! We went to the Carp Fair today. I'm wiped out. No rides, but some photos!!! The colours are amazing, aren't they?!

    Oh my goodness! That would be a trip! That ride is so high. I would have panicked just on the height alone. But... what a great way to end summer! Totally on a high.

    I love the pictures; but I doubt I would have taken the ride. I am not great on heights. However, I might have considered going with my hubby.
