I have been busy playing with the birds these days...
they are so active right now, I need to fill the feeders twice per day.
It is getting harder for them to find food and fresh water as winter approaches,
keeping up with that is more important than ever.
As I stand by my office window taking their picture, I often wonder why.
I have 15,000 plus pictures saved on my computer, most of birds.
Do I really need another picture of a Cardinal or Goldfinch?
Probably not...
and yet there I stand with an obsession of sorts,
it could be for the picture but more likely just to spend time with them.
I think it is their freedom I admire most, flight without fear.

ReplyDeleteWatching the birds if fun, fascinating, and RELAXING. I do so enjoy it. Love these beautiful pictures! And yesterdays----the blue jays with the NUTS??!!---SO AMAZING. Some of my favorites for sure. How in the world you get those shots I don't know, I do think they 'DO POSE FOR YOU', LOl

Just keep on taking those pictures and sharing them. I have on occasion said I would stop taking pictures of a certain bird, but that usually didn't last very long.Who knows? That next shot might just be the PERFECT one.😊
