Full Moon...

Waiting for the fireworks on Thursday,
the day before the full moon/blood moon...
I captured a couple images of the "almost" full moon because it was super pretty,
and quite frankly, I was bored, we always arrive too early.




The next 2 were my favorites!!



A photographer can always occupy one's self.

    A photographer with a really good camera.
    When I try moon photos, they just come out with a bright spot in the dark. Blah.

    That one with the leaves (second to last) is an art-gallery worthy shot! Fabulous. I haven't been able to get any good moon shots in forever. Maybe it is because we don't go out after dark much, you think?? Cracking myself up, actually it is because all I ever see here in Oregon is the moon without any context -- so my pictures come out just looking like a ball in the sky. So much better when you have a tree or those beautiful leaves to place it!

    I love moon pictures, and those are great ones! The surface of the moon is so neat to look at isn't it? Very mysterious. My mom loves to gaze at the moon!
