Barlow Flower Farm

Do you have a garden center like this?
Barlow Flower Farm located in Sea Girt, New Jersey
This garden center is located only 10 minutes from home,
I buy all my flowers for summer here.
It's a great place to visit to chase away the winter blues...
as there is always something blooming and they have amazing home decor as well!

I'll show you their orchids and their bird sanctuary tomorrow!

  3. Thanks for this, Debbie. I had forgotten about Barlow’s which I visited when I was looking for a house. It’s on my must visit list. When the snow melts, that is.

  4. We have several very good garden centres close to home and many of them start to go crazy this time of year. Everyone is wiling winter to have its final gasp and let spring to take over. I am one of those people!

  7. We do have one close by, it's always fun to go look around, what stood out to me is those fish that they did from drift wood that is such a cool idea!, have you already started buying flowers? It is starting to warm up here but we have rain in the forecast every day for the next week except Sunday, we are NO longer in a drought.

  8. Gosh I am so glad it is by you and not me. Just looking at the pictures I can see so many things I would totally buy and bring home. My house needs those things. :)
    Whew! What a beautiful place.

  9. Yes we have a garden center like that. In fact it is just about 200 yards from my driveway!
I love it there, and do buy, even though their plants are a bit more expensive.
Unfortunately, it won't open for about 2 weeks, so I have to wait.

  10. I love places like that and I don't even garden any more. It is a good thing they don't charge for taking pictures (unlike you, I don't actually buy much of anything, so I really don't deserve the free picture ops).

  11. Nope, no lovely place like that, darn it. The flowers are gorgeous! I'm debating what to do in the yard since we get those nasty grasshoppers that love to eat the leaves. ugh

  15. I'm with Ruth - we have several lovely garden centers near here, but I know better than to go ... I couldn't resist all the goodies - so the next best thing is to enjoy it through you! Happy Spring!
