The Yellow-Rumped Warbler only visits during winter.
Its chirpy call is so distinctive, as is her yellow rump as she flies off.
This is her favorite spot on her favorite branch, in her favorite tree.
I think she is flying solo, as I have not seen any males or other female companions.

Sweet tweet.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! Love the falling snow, too!
ReplyDeleteAhh sweet! I've never seen a yellow-rumped warbler. I'm a little sad to think she's alone. Do birds get lonely? She kind of looks like she wants to be friends with you :-)

ReplyDeleteLove your little Warbler - her yellow tufts are gorgeous. Perhaps she's a more solitary bird? Our Little Wattlebirds keep to themselves. Beautiful that she chose your garden.
