There is nothing that can compare to Christmas in New York City.
The sights, the sounds and the colors - they cannot be beat.
We are so fortunate to live close to New York City,
and on December 20th the hubs and I visited to see the
Rockettes perform in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.
We go almost every year,
the show is so festive, colorful and beautifully choreographed.
Through my images, I hope you can see that the show was excellent this year!
A sweet young couple took this picture for us.
I had noticed them on line, while we were waiting to go in,
they were so cute together.
I took a few pictures of them together here and they returned the favor.
I always enjoy doing that, we meet the nicest people.
And the show - it was just awesome!!
Hello Debbie, wonderful photos from the show. It is a great show, I went once many years ago. The last shot of you and your hubs is cute! Enjoy your day and weekend ahead! I wish you all the best in 2017, Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful photos, especially the last one.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to New York but if I ever do go, this is on my list of places to see. Looks like a great way to celebrate the holidays.
All the best to you in 2017 Debbie!!!
You conveyed the enchantment of the evening very well.
ReplyDeleteQuite spectacular - and so nice that you were allowed to take photos. I love the way they set up that dancing santas visual. What a lot of costume making went into that show. Really great to have seen this through your eyes Debbit - thank you. That cute pic of you both is lovely as well. Cheers now :D)
ReplyDeleteYOWZA!! This is the first I've really ever seen of the inside of the show - you hear so much about it, and I've always found it hard to imagine what a bunch of girls in line kicking do for a two hour show!!?! Ha! That ice-skating set is amazing! From these it looks like it's worth it for the scenery alone!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!!! If I lived close enough I would go every year too. That is incredible! What beautiful sets. I bet you loved every minute. I like the picture of you and Chuck, you look so happy. I hope you have a lovely 2017 Debbie.
ReplyDeleteFabulous way to celebrate the Holiday season. Way too many years ago we went to NYC on vacation --- Radio City and the Rockettes was a wonderful highlight of the trip, we loved it (but it wasn't at Christmas, more's the pity)....Happy New Year to the both of you.
ReplyDeleteThat looks such a wonderful show - the sets, the colours just marvelous.

ReplyDeleteThat certainly looks like an awesome show! Have to admit that I've always been a little afraid to even think about going to New York City!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous! I know that was fun! I love all the Santas! :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great show.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing event to see.
ReplyDeleteThe show looks like a spectacular one. I do love the sweet photo of the two of you. It is fun to have others help you get the photos. I love having conversations with them as we take turns. Blessings and hugs~
ReplyDeleteThis is so joyful!!!! Did you see the piece on Ellen Degeneres, where her producer visited the Rockettes and worked out with them? It shows a bit of the back scenes. I'm surprised they permit photos!!!
