New Hope & Ivyland Railroad

This past Wednesday was a beautiful fall day.
Rain was forecasted for Thursday so...
we decided last minute, spur of the moment to take a ride out to New Hope, Pa.
and ride the railway to no where, for the Fall Foliage Excursion.

One half hour out and one half hour back, non stop...
destination, only to have fun!!
The ride had live narration, a beautiful view and we even saw a few deer.

Lot's more from New Hope to follow!!

  3. Ah, New Hope. It's on my list of places I'd like to live. I didn't know they did this train ride. I love trains! I will have to do this.

  4. I love your spontaneity! This looks like fun. Sometimes when I'm in my commuter train, and actually look up from my reading, I realize that tourists would pay to see some of the scenery that I ignore everyday. Your post is a good reminder of this (I say as I sit in the train glued to my phone...) have a great day!

  21. looks like you really had a fun adventure riding this train, and the fall foliage looks amazing. I live in Texas, and it is not going to be a very colorful fall here...
