The Hornblower...

While in Canada, at Niagara Falls, we did what most tourists do...the world famous
that brings you right in to the heart of the American Falls
and the Horseshoe Falls.
A 20 minute daytime boat ride, this is one of the best attractions in Niagara Falls.

Hold on tight, it's going to get slippery and you will get wet.
There is no "splash zone" the entire boat is a splash zone!
So let's put on our red rain coat that does absolutely nothing to keep us dry,
then we will board the boat like a herd of cattle.

To say that the boat is crowded, is a severe understatement.

It was fun, slippery, wet and wild!!

  1. Hello Debbie, awesome shots from your boat ride and the waterfalls is gorgeous. Love the rainbow shot. We took the boat ride with the blue rainjackets, I thought we looked like smurfs. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

  4. Great shots. Does the boat lean when everyone rushes to one side?

  5. I have been to The Falls 10 times. It was on my ninth visit that I got brave enough to ride on the Maid of the Mist boat--we wore the blue ponchos--and stood at the very front point of the boat, hanging on for dear life to the flag post. It was awesome! The minute we got back to shore, I wanted to do it again. I am hoping you went "down" the elevators to the bottom of the Falls. Another drenching experience.

  8. I'm so pleased you did this and even more pleased to be able to see the fantastic photo's you've shared.

Doesn't the boat look so small against the power of the water.
That rainbow photograph is magnificent ... can't wait to see more.

    Happy Weekend Wishes

    All the best Jan
