Yarn Along

I am a weird knitter...really, I am.

When I find something I enjoy knitting, I knit it in multiples.

Each time the knitting gets more comfortable, more familiar and I like that.

It becomes mindless knitting, that I can do anywhere.

I am the same way with clothes. 

If I find a pair of pants I like and they fit, I'll buy five pair.

Honey Cowls

This is my latest conquest which came off the needles a few days ago.
I love the color and I adore this yarn.

An up-close look at the beautiful way these stitches come together.

This was my third cowl, casting on 110 stitches,

 

and I made one cowl casting on 220 stitches.
I feel 110 stitches is slightly tight but 220 is too big.
The bigger one should really be doubled to achieve the right look.

Four Honey Cowls in the books, I have moved on to a new project.
I will share my new piece next Wednesday,
when it is a little further along.

I have quite a few nieces and I think these will make lovely Christmas gifts!!
