Up until a few days ago, I had not seen one butterfly here,
or in my travels.
It could be that it has turned so warm and I have not been outdoors much.
But still, I take walks around the yard,
past summers I have always seen them floating around.

I have a big window in my home office and I often spot them while I'm "working".
The other day I was out in the yard looking for butterflies and spotted my first one.

I am 100% sure I have never seen this butterfly before.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Sadly I don't see nearly as many butterflies as I did about 5-10 years ago.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a stunning little butterfly! You know, now that you mention it, I've hardly seen any butterflies here. I remember summers when I would see them every day I went outside, but this year I can count on one hand when I've seen them. Hmm...
