Hello Debbie, they are beautiful. I love those pretty tail feathers and colors. Wonderful photos! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
They are gorgeous. Your shots make me think of the peacock that lived on the river, a few houses down. I miss listening to his calls at sunset. Oh. My chest is tightening. (dogs killed the poor thing. His death hit our little neighborhood hard)
They really are beautiful, and of course their colors define them. I went to a wedding that was outside in St. Augustine; the peacocks took my breath away keeping me from 'listening' to the ceremony. :)
Wow....such a handsome bird!! [They're loud...but they know they're handsome so they are 'aloud' to be loud, right!?!]
Being an avid birder myself, I'm visiting from the linking tool at Eileen's Saturday Critters. Thanks for sharing. If you'd like, you can add your link today at I'd Rather B Birdin'.
The colors are so brilliant! You did get some great shots. Our neightbor says there is one by a river near our home but I haven't seen it yet. Blessings and hugs~
Aren't peacocks a vision splendid. So many gorgeous colours....those blues and emerald greens take my breath away. What a pity he didn't show off his feathers.
Wow how neat to get that closeup to him.... I have only seen a couple in my lifetime open, the most impressive was in a English garden of a castle we were visiting, he strutted around for quite some time, their feathers are just amazing!
Such a handsome bird! Good, clear shots!

ReplyDeleteI'm surprised there was no full on tail fan! Peacocks are usually such "strutty" creatures. Love the golden feathers!

I wonder what God was thinking about when he created peacocks. They are truly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAren't they the most beautiful of all birds...your photos do them justice, too.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful bird! I've only seen one once in reality, and the colors were just amazing!!! Have a super Saturday Debbie.

ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful! We had a neighbor that owned one, (now he lives in Florida, imagine that right) but it was always a treat to go visit them!
ReplyDeletePeacocks are so colourful aren't they, that last photo shows the colours superbly.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
