The Colors of an Orchid

The highlight of my garden center visit on Saturday was the orchids.
Drenched in all my favorite colors,
lets take a peak at what was blooming!!

Lots of pretty purples and yellows, I think they knew I was coming!
Mine at home is getting ready to bloom,
I will have six flowers in all....I can't wait!!

  1. Those orchids are just beautiful. The petals are so delicate. What loveliness to see on this very cold winter morning! And what an amazing Creator, a master designer! Thanks for bringing us such a beautiful reminder that we will see spring again. I can see that I need to get some fresh flowers for my house, but they'd freeze on the way home. Have a good Tuesday, Debbie.

  3. Oh, I love the first one. So delicate, so pastel! My kind of flower. Can't wait to see your blossoms, Debbie. I was given an orchid once but my "art of growing things" is so bad the poor thing died.
