On our way to Cape May, last month,
you may remember we stopped in Smithville for lunch.
hehehe...
well of course you don't remember that, but I am reminding you.
There we encountered quite the traffic jam,
that I haven't had the chance to share with all of you.
White Fronted Geese...
they move kinda' slow...
making them easy to photograph!!
They were beautiful...
friendly...
and I'm pretty sure this one's eating for "many"!
I'll be sure and check back, to see what develops!

Wonderful sunshine and these geese images are all fantastic. Hope your weekend goes well.
ReplyDeleteOh I must pretend to remember all these, as a blogging friend.

ReplyDeleteBut I shouldn't have told you.

ReplyDeleteWell, it's pretty obvious who the bosses in that community are. :))
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! I have never seen the White Fronted Geese (Only in photos). Really nice shots you took of them! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful. Mother doesn't create anything less than beautiful...especially if it wear feathers. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special treat to see these....
ReplyDeleteso, gotta ask, did you 'honk' at them to move it along? ;) so cute.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen geese like that in a while. We get a lot of Canada geese around here. They're beautiful, but they do make a mess.
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable!
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call a perfect traffic to be caught by, and so perfect to pull over and bring out your trusty camera! Wow. You did good Debbie!
ReplyDeleteI would like getting into a traffic jam just 'cause those pretty geese were at the bottom of it. That was quite a number of them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo opportunity, and great photos. Love the close up. I also would not have minded being held up by a gaggle of geese.
ReplyDeleteblessings....
ReplyDeleteOh what lovely photographs, i enjoyed them
thank you for sharing.
peace.

How sweet! Great shots, too. They were very kind to slow to a stroll so you could get a few snaps! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures! They're out enjoying a leisurely stroll.
ReplyDeleteYes they are beautiful, strolling like not a care in the world.
ReplyDeletehehehe, yes, funny, that's what i wrote today!!
DeleteYeah, they are slow. We have them on the lake at our subdivision and sometimes they block the main road, and the Canada Geese join them. Today I rolled down the window and spoke loudly to them so they wouldn't move in front of my car. Sometimes we just have to stop and wait for them to mosey out of the way.
ReplyDeleteLOL! They don't look to be in any hurry, do they?
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of a beautiful traffic jam! For some reason the photo with "friendly" under it reminds me of the Aflac duck! In any case, pretty awesome captures!
ReplyDeleteI like the chocolatey tint on their feathers. They are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHello Debbie ! I am sorry I am late visiting your post! I love these cute geese. Awesome sighting and photos! Thank you so much for linking up to my critter party! Enjoy your day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteThose geese are beautiful! I had never seen them before your pictures! Thanks for sharing! :)
