Saturday Critters ~ 56 ~

There's Enough For Everyone!!

We are having some "sharing" issues at my house...
so I decided to set up a few separate feeding stations for the smaller birds.

The Blues are the culprits...the are just down right "food hogs"!
It matters not...I still love them...

But I love these guys too and they have been loosing the battle
against the Blue Jays.
The Jays chase away my cute little Titmice
before they are able to grab a nut.

These small black bowls are for the little ones.

They caught on quickly...

and seem to appreciate having there own feeding station!!

Always on alert...

looking for those men in blue.

This is working out well, so I will keep everything filled as it gets colder
and food is harder for them to find.

  16. Super photos, Debbie! I LOVE the Blue Jays, but their visits here are few and far between, although I know they're around. We don't get the Titmice here.

  19. awww they're all so cute. It's wonderful that you keep them
supplied with food. And, what a great idea to separate
    their serving sections! :)

  20. Your birds must be better trained than mine. I'm pretty sure the Blue Jays would just take over the little feeders as well.

  21. I split my seeds up in a lot of places too so more birds can feed at once without disturbing each other. Jays can be rather obnoxious, the colors in your photos are so vivid! The little Titmice look almost like miniature Jays with their crests raised, so cute! I wish I had some.

  22. I know what you mean about the blue jays being greedy and bossy, but the titmice are so cute!!!

  23. Poor little Mice! They're just lovers, not fighters! The jays are definitely hogs! Beautiful photos!

  28. Oh my I can see why they would have a hard time against the big bluejays, they are so much smaller. Both are just wonderful birds and it's great that you set them up their own feeding stations. I enjoyed these photos very much.
