I do!
I primarily love their furniture.
I think their other products are nice and pretty
but a little over priced.
I needed wanted a new desk for the upstairs den
and I just fell in love with this piece from pottery barn.
It unfolds open into this cute little desk,
for guests or visitors.
I stashed our "extra" laptop inside, with some pretty stationary...
but does anyone write letters anymore??
I use the top hutch to show off some of my pretty "purple" things.
The top shelf holds the boys baby books and some of my "special" plates.
I received $ 175.00 in rewards dollars for that purchase.
That equals $ 175.00 in cold cash.
That equals $ 175.00 in cold cash.
This is what $ 175.00 buys in Pottery Bar.
Two towels, five washcloths, that pretty glass jar
(I have big plans for that)
the card game Table Topics and that big white milk jar.
Value, maybe seventy-five bucks...but I must remember,
free for me!!
Now let's move our attention to a real bargain,
one of those "Dollar Store" bargains.
This my friends is a sticker, a super heavy, vinyl sticker,
that I picked up at the Dollar Store for "one" buck-a-roo!!
I think it looks awesome sitting in that plain-jane spot on the back-splash,
between the stove and the microwave!
Talk about on the cheap...I love it!!

We don't have Pottery Barns here, but I have seen their online catalogue. I like the desk, it looks vintage!
ReplyDeleteI love Pottery Barn and their offshoots -- PBKids and PBTeen. Since my husband works with really good, solid wood pieces, I can find what I like at PB, then he gets a really nice similar piece and he finishes or paints it.
ReplyDeleteI do like that secretary desk, though. I have one in my upstairs hall that originally belonged to my husband's grandmother. The hutch part broke, but the desk and all its cubbyholes still goes on!
Sticker sure does add lovely texture behind the stove! Nice! And I'm sure those pottery barn towels are extra-super-duper fluffy. Or something! The desk is really lovely...I'll have to look at more of their stuff - it's been ages since I've bought furniture!
ReplyDeleteI have been in a Pottery Barn in Utah. I really like the store. That sticker is something I never thought of doing. I have a blank space between my microwave and the stove as well. You did good!!
ReplyDeleteThat little red tea kettle is a spot of cheer, too.
ReplyDeletei love to drool over Pottery Barn. i might window shop there. you enjoy!! i love the sticker. so cute!! & looks great there in that spot. ( :
ReplyDeleteI am totally loving that awesome desk. I love that and then the goodies you got with your extra cash is wonderful too. Yes, I admit to being a Pottery Barn junky.
ReplyDeleteI really like your dollar store sign as well. It is just so much fun this time of year to play house.
Every thing looks so pretty Debbie.
I love your new PB piece! It's beautiful! I also like your items you got with your reward money! And guess what? I especially love that Dollar Store vinyl sign!!!
ReplyDeleteI like that cabinet! Plenty of room to show some things plus useful as a desk. And I really like that sticker for your kitchen. That's a good idea for that space.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a Pottery Barn. We don't have them around here. :-(
No Pottery Barn here but I would love to visit one.

ReplyDeleteDimi...
I haven't been in a Pottery Barn since I lived in the Twin Cities. I love their things but I can't afford them and I don't need anything anyway. I do love the desk and that pretty sticker above your stove
ReplyDeleteI love Pottery Barn, but not their prices. The desk you purchased is gorgeous! Nice selections with your free money, too. Oh, and the dollar store bargain is too sweet!
ReplyDeletei'm all about value. a buck is a good bargain. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh I love your buck find it does make me smile and so do was that red kettle I remember you buying yup it still looks beautiful. I have never been to a Pottery Barn but I LOVE LOVE that cabinet and all those other free treasures you bought. Hug B
ReplyDeleteWow! You definitely picked up so e goodies!
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE that desk.
I can and do always find something at Pottery Barn! Yes I love their rewards program. Bonnie
ReplyDeleteI love the PB style.
ReplyDeleteIt is relatively easy to get PB look without the PB cost. I just copy the ideas using thrift stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love the desk, your freebies and the sticker...from the pricey to the cheap...it's all good!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a Pottery Barn in my area, but I've seen their stuff and like it. Your new cabinet is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour new desk reminds me of one my grandmother had but her was dark wood. I have not shop at Pottery Barn, I can say I have shopped at the Dollar store though. I love your cute sticker and all your purchases. Have a great evening!
ReplyDeleteI love the desk, your freebies and the sticker...from the pricey to the cheap...it's all good!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice piece! I've been to Pottery Barn (tagging along), but it's been a long time.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love to put a pricy piece and a really tasteful but cheap piece side by side. I have a dollar soap dispenser next to a $40 vase in the guest bathroom, and no one is the wiser.
ReplyDeleteAw w I love the desk. I can just picture someone sitting there writing a letter. I have decided lately to hand write notes to my grandchildren once in a while. Not long ago I found a letter written to me by my mother and I loved her hand writing. It was a sentimental moment for sure. I like the free stuff and also the lettering from the dollar store; that was a bargain.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Love Pottery Barn furniture!
ReplyDeleteI love your desk Debbie, along with everything else. I am going to check out Pottery Barn the next time I go shopping.
ReplyDeleteLook at you -- cooking and decorating. And doing it well.
ReplyDeleteLove your purchases. I've never been inside a Pottery Barn. Prolly a good thing. :)
No Pottery Barn here. Every time I hear about Pottery Barn though I'm reminded of the FRIENDS episode where Phoebe hated PB and Rachel purchased a bunch of stuff from there and then tried to pass it off as Antiques. It was pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteYour new desk is lovely. I wouldn't mind owning something like that myself.
I have admired that secretary desk for quite some time, it looks absolutely gorgeous in your home! My mom's Pottery Barn sofas were just delivered this week, they're so well made - she loves them!
ReplyDeleteMy dear friend gave me that Table Topics game when we were in Chicago last year. It is such a fun thing for parties.
