The snow glows white on the mountain tonight...
Not a footprint to be seen...
A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the Queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Not a footprint to be seen...
A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the Queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back, the past is in the past
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back, the past is in the past
Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here I stand
In the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway!
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here I stand
In the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway!

The snow is so pretty untouched, right after it's just fallen! I love going to the beach this time of year, the snow looks so surreal!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are beautiful even though I am sick of snow. I have never heard that song before but I like the words!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Love the shadows across the fresh snow, and the stormy one. I think my favorite is the fourth, with the snow stuck on the trunk and branches...and the path leading to the light in the distance. Poetic! Hugs - and happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I'm pretty tired of being trapped up here on my mountain because of the snow, but I'll admit, there is nothing more pretty that untouched snow. Beautiful photos, Debbie! The words complement that photos beautifully.
