The New Kids On The Block, Part 1









I don't usually see Carolina Wrens in my yard.
 
If you have never seen one, they are small, with a short tail.
They have a beautiful, warm brown color
and a prominet white eyebrow!
 
This guy has been hanging around and sings for food!
My kinda guy!

  5. Yes, we have them, but now that you mention it, I haven't seen one in quite a while. I'm thinking the kitties outside have a lot to do with the decline in our bird appearances. :) Beautiful shots!

    Mine don't get treat's they have to get there's natures way ...haha!!

  10. I have them. So far they have made three nests. They sing to us all the time. My boys love them. They don't seem to fit in with the rest of the yard birds, but they love us.

  18. And they have quite a loud song for such a tiny bird! There's a resident Carolina Wren in my backyard that just loves to taunt my cats through the window.
