I almost always have a small herb garden growing inside the house.
This past winter I bought this blue planter and replanted the herbs I had going.
- dill - scallions - basil -
I planted the ends of the scallions I purchased in the food store and they grew quite well.
The rest I started with seeds.
Everything grew abundantly and this little garden fulfilled my fresh herb needs.
But as we got further into the summer,
and since I have these herbs growing outside, I decided to plant succulents in this grouping.
I went to my favorite garden center,
Barlows,
and bought 2 succulents to put on either end of the grouping and kept the basil plant in the center.
I find my little indoor garden brings me much joy!
I think I am going to pick up one more succulent, for the summer, and take the basil plant outside.
My other indoor plants, I only have a few...
Kalanchoe
Cyclamen
I have had this plant forever and it has never been this big or healthy, doesn't it look great?
It has 2 purple flowers coming.
It has 2 purple flowers coming.
This is my favorite "splurge"...this watering can, that cost way too much money,
helps me to look forward to watering my plants!
Kalanchoe - Flaming Katy
I have been filling my time with keeping things around the house clean,
painting, knitting, a little work in the gardens,
seeing family and keeping cool in the pool!
A Christmas present, I start early, knitting, for me, takes forever!

Your plants are lovely! I love seeing what you see and hear what you've been doing!
I have a herb garden too. I haven’t had any luck with basil in the past so I gave up trying. The others grow well though.
Debbie, your plants are beautiful and seem to be thriving. My inside ones are getting huge. The Fiddle fig and the Monstera deliciosa are growing like weeds. May have to repot them before long...
Your plants and herbs are lovely.
All the best Jan
I just bought seeds and I was given an herbal plantar. Looking at yours has inspired me :) Your cowl is such a pretty color and I love how you have paired it with the rhododendron.
Debbie, your plants are so pretty....and your photography is superb! Absolutely stunning!
