Let"s Make A Pizza

I have made many delicious pizzas during my lifetime, but recently started making them as gifts.
Gifts you say, what in the world?!
As my nieces and nephews are getting older,
they prefer "cold hard cash", "bread", "bucks" as opposed to a gift.
After a few birthday's, I thought there must be a more creative way to do this so I went on
Pinterest and found a lot of unique ways to gift money here.

This is the finished "Pizza" made primarily with "Dough".

This is super simple to put together, first decide how much you would like to gift.
Other supplies include a clean pizza box, your money, paper clips, and very small pieces of tape.
Next, go to the bank, and see if you can get "new" money in the denominations you need.

I had some brand new 2 dollar bills, I used those for my base.

For the outer dough, I used dollar bills, rolled and held together with a paper clips.
I used that same paperclip to attach it to the 2 dollar bills.

I put a 50 dollar bill in the center to bring the amount up to what I wanted the gift to be.
I have seen pizzas with quarter or pennies for pepperoni, that looks cute also

All done, I know Addie will love it!!

I made one once before...

for Addie's sister Lorelei when she graduated from 6th grade,
that's a thing now, I didn't know.

We all had dinner at one of those Hibachi Restaurants,
you know, where they toss the food at you.
Thank goodness I caught mine...no one was more shocked than I.

These can be made and then decorated for any occasion.

I love this, I was brought up to believe cash giving is thoughtless and a lazy way to give a gift. I never thought it that way. Cash always fits and can be of use. The pizza part shows you put time and thought into the gift. Dee

What a fun and novel way to gift $, Debbie, and I know exactly what you mean about it being hard to buy a gift for a younger person. Our granddaughter is celebrating her 14th birthday soon and now I will have to buy pizza so I can save the box and try this!
