Saturday Critters #599

 We have had several wonderful outings to all of our preferred lakes, parks and natural areas.
These nature drives cost nothing and are about my favorite way to spend a day.

My biggest photography accomplishment are these flight images of the...


Great Blue Heron


Take off...

flight...landing unknown.

This Osprey was circling overhead, looking for it's next meal I am sure.

This female House Sparrow landed right in front of my lens...

and this turtle was warming itself in the sun.

Lake of the Lilies was lined with these 
 -Blue Flag Flowers -
I thought they were a lovely shade of purple!

Awesome photos! I know how hard it is to get decent pictures of flying birds, dozens of pictures in the hopes of getting one good one.

You sure did capture some beautiful, take off's, I like how the sparrow wanted her day in the sun so to speak :) Wow that is a big turtle. Good for you managing to find a pretty purple flower!
