I'm sure you have all been wondering if I have been knitting...
I have not spoken too much about it here.
Yes, I knit most nights, have finished my big project and knit a bunch of washcloths/dishcloths.
This is the large project I finished, The Colorblock Scarf by The Lamb & Kid.
I made this for hubs.
Knitted in all alpaca yarn, it is so warm and squishy, it is sure to keep him warm this coming winter.
I actually finished the scarf weeks ago and I have been working on the fringe.
I did not realize until now, how much I hate working on fringe.
I need another project, I have been looking at a few things.
In the meantime, I have been knitting these washcloths/dishcloths.
They are small, travel well and you are not tied to a pattern.
I work on these at night and on car rides...
and they will make nice gifts with homemade soap at Christmas time.
I finished another "Simple Yet Effective" Cowl
I am knitting this with Alpaca Yarn, hand dyed by my good friend Liz.
It's a really pretty yarn, the colors don't show well in the picture.
My Hydrangeas are blooming and starting to show their color...
This one is an Endless Summer.
It blooms four times each summer, and sports all colors, pink, purple and blue.
This one is huge, I have had this one in my garden for about 30 years.
I clipped a few and brought them inside to enjoy.
We had a great weekend and I have a lot to share this week.

Love the hydrangeas in your vase (and in your garden).
All the best Jan
Beautifully done. The hydrangeas are lovely as well.
I have tried knitting but I could not get the hang of it! Now my arthritic hands made me stop trying! You do such beautiful work!
beautiful hydrangeas, Debbie! Love seeing all the pretty things you make, they look absolutely professional.
I used to yarn as well then hurt my hand and haven't been able to go back. Someday. Love that you enjoy it. Really fun to play with yarn. I'm not stuck to any pattern either when I play. Just whatever I fancy. Though for me, it's crochet. Either way, yarn is fun.
