This post may not be for everyone...
but it shares feeling some of us may have, and how to deal with them.
or submitting a doctors note,
"I can't make it, but thank you for thinking of me".
This is a kind, completely acceptable answer.
It is also about replacing "I'm Sorry" with "Thank You".
I'm sorry I can't make it tonight - Thank you for inviting/including me.
I'm sorry to ask you for another favor - Thank you for helping me out.
I'm sorry for being so needy - Thank you for being here for me.
I'm sorry for being so emotional - Thank you for loving me.
I'm sorry I'm late - Thank you for waiting for me.
Hello Debbie,
ReplyDeleteLovely post! It reminds me of the movie Love Story and the saying love means never having to say your sorry. Take care, your flowers are beautiful. Have a great day and a happy week ahead.
Wonderful post and lovely photos, dear Debbie. I hope you have a lovely week ahead. 💗
ReplyDeleteIt took me a long time to be able to say no too. It must come with age. :)
ReplyDeleteWomen are ingrained with the "I have to say yes to everything". Glad we are finally learning that there is a NO word.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Debbie.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs too.
All the best Jan
That's a great point of view. I never considered that.
ReplyDeleteGood post. Years ago, I worked in a department store portrait studio. My manager gave me a great tip, and that is, when people have waited a while for their turn, always say thank you for waiting. It’s more effective than apologizing.
ReplyDeleteI’m still learning this lesson. Thank you. Really.
ReplyDeleteLearning to say "no" is a toughie but it's the best lesson we can learn. I love your suggestions.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you!!!! Such beautiful flowers I thank you for too Debbie :)
ReplyDeleteI will have to admit I am an I'm sorry person, but I do like your other ways of saying it :)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful note. I am learning that I don't have to say sorry an yes all the time. Thank you for the lovely photos.
