Did you want the final game of the World Cup?
We watched, I love soccer and was really excited for the grand finale.
My son loves soccer and played until he went to college.
Two world class teams, he was rooting for Spain, so I was as well.
I enjoyed the game because Spain played so well, but they sure did have a hard time scoring.
If you watched, you know the game was pretty lopsided, it went into overtime and Spain was victorious.
The better team won 1 - 0.
It was so exciting that the final was played in New Jersey...less than an hour from my home.
That did not mean we could get tickets...availability was so limited and the cost was outrageous!
I enjoyed the way the field looked at halftime and it was nice they had a show at halftime.
They never have in the past!
I made my version of the Taco Bell Supreme Wrap.
I used this recipe as a guide, one big difference was I just used pre-packaged taco seasoning.
These are the ingredients I used...
Toast with a small amount of olive oil, folded side first.
Then flip and toast the flat side.
I'm not much of a sports fan so I didn't watch the world cup. I heard a lot about it on the radio though. I think you had the best seat in the house. Those crowds are crazy.
ReplyDeleteThat home made Supreme wrap looks really good.
Hello Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI am not much of a sports fan. Your homemade Supreme Wrap looks yummy. Take care, have a great day!
DH watched the game... I just checked in occasionally to see the score (which was 0-0 most of the game). But seeing those 'crowds' really put me off. As for the taco... looks good, but would rather used chicken than ground beef... and have to use corn tortillas, not flour (although I like flour better).
ReplyDeleteI love college football but soccer is just too slow for me, sort of like baseball. Isn't that crazy? Shows how little I know about the sport but I just have never gotten into it. Can't wait for college football though.
ReplyDeleteI showed hubby this and he laughed, only because he knows what my favorite Taco Bell item is. He also knows what will be on our next shopping list. Thanks Debbie, this looks delicious!
ReplyDeletep.s. watched bits here and there on the TV. You got some great action here. Also meant to say I sent you an email about the cards.
DeleteThe only bits of the World Cup I watched was a few highlights in our news bulletins. However, I was pleased England came third and received their bronze medals.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I didn't watch it but heard the half time was neat. That taco does sound good, we had fajitas tonight :)
ReplyDeleteWe did not watch any of the World Cup games but how nice that the final was played in our home state. I suspect that the view was better on TV then the costly high level stadium seats. The taco wrap looks delicious1
