I only recently learned that Legos has boxed sets they call
They really caught my eye - how fun - I enjoy puzzles and these are like puzzles for grown ups.
I received 2 from the collection, from the hubs, for my birthday.
Here is the first one finished, this is a pot full of Mini Orchids.
The instruction booklet has beautiful pictures and interesting information.
There were step by step instructions...
Putting this together was a lot of fun,
the hups helped and I am happy to report that we are still speaking to each other,
but it did get a little tense!
I have another one from the Botanicals Collection,
I plan on putting it together on the next rainy day.
Wow how pretty and interesting. Legos for adults Is new to me but truthfully I wouldn't have the patience. I don't love puzzles and have no patience for small detail work. But I love the results. Glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteChallenging and fascinating! Such a pretty result.
ReplyDeleteWhat will they think of next? What a clever idea. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteDear Debbie!
ReplyDeleteA great gift and perfect fun for long autumn evenings.
Have a lovely autumn Wednesday.
What a fun gift and it turned out pretty. Now you have another to look forward to putting together.
ReplyDeleteNow you're not only growing beautiful flowers---- you're BUILDING THEM! LOL π π€£ π π» π πΉ π π» πΉ . Glad you enjoyed your present π!
ReplyDeleteMy husband just built the Japanese flower in the same vase and a Japanese castle.
ReplyDeleteThese Lego sets are just brilliant.
ReplyDeleteDIL has some ... and they are lovely.
All the best Jan
I wouldn't mind one of these myself. Had no idea they did flowers. Thanks for sharing Debbie :) Your photos are lovely!
ReplyDeleteHubby likes doing those too, he bought me the lego wreath/advent wreath, I think there was one more thing you could make but I just did the advent one with the candles. Luckily you don't have two male cats that like to chase each other throughout the house and knock things over or you would have a chance to put it together many times, LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun that you and your husband worked on these botanical legos. They do look pretty finished. Take care, enjoy your day!
