Saturday Critters #496

 I have some great wildlife pictures that I took this past week 
but today I decided to share the rest of the pictures I took at the drive thru safari at 
Six Flags, Great Adventure
I can't express with words how much I enjoy this comfortable ride, drinks, snacks 
and the opportunity to photograph animals I don't see anywhere else.

    I love all your wildlife photos, the giraffes and elephants are favorites. They are all great critters and what a wonderful place to visit.     That really is an adventure! It makes me think of some of the movies I've seen with animals like this. I love movies set in Africa especially. The chance to see giraffes is really special!

    My favorite is the 6th pic... the black long-haired bull with the white spot on his forehead! Reminded me of the hairy coos in Scotland.

    I was just telling my wife that I have never seen a kangaroo in a zoo.
    So, thanks to you, that wish became a reality today, through the virtual/digital zoo you brought to all of us. So, thank you! Now, I have to go to the zoo (in the winter, given it is about a 100 degrees now, here in Texas) and see one in person. Be well!

    It sure would be nice to have a drive through safari closer to us, there is one about an hour away in Missouri but it is mostly elk and buffalo, but the traffic is so bad to get to it. Love that Lion picture.
