Saturday Critters #474

It has been so gray and gloomy here, spritzing almost every day.
I'm not sure I left the house after we went to the
Fire and Frost Show
at Peddler's Village on Monday.
I love a week like this though, quiet...doing lot's of home things, projects and organizing.
I have not been out to Lake of the Lilies for pictures, I know the pictures would be terrible,
so I am going to share some pictures from the folders saved on my computer.

Bird Flu is still a problem and the article in the paper said it is primarily affecting the
swans but that one duck has died.
I fear it is the beautiful Wood Duck that comes every winter as I have not seen him on previous visits.

I decided to share some pictures I have of him from previous years.

2018

These are some of my favorites, I was able to get very close to him and he did not swim away.
They are wonderful memories.

2019

I love this picture because it shows the pretty colors in the females hind feathers.

2020

2021

This is my favorite picture of all of the years from 2018, the first year I saw him at
Lake of the Lilies
There is not always a female with him!

Sharing today's images with Eileen at
