- Good Morning Friends -
Between coughs I am going to post an update on my Covid - 19 experience.
I am vaccinated,
I received my booster and I also had Covid once before, the Delta Variant in September 2021.
I received the monoclonal antibodies then and also this time.
The hubs received Paxlovid to treat/lessen his symptoms and that has worked well for him.
I am not able to take Paxlovid.
As to the symptoms of this covid variant, it is like the worst cold you have ever had times 10.
We are staying home, taking care of one another and keeping each other company.
Here's a peak a last nights sunset...
no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky -
It's good that you have each other and look after each other.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a quick recovery:)
Beautiful sunset.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!
I am so sorry to hear how sick you are with this nasty virus. Take care and try to rest as much as you can. We are fine after the terrible storm. Just sending you lots of hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteTake care Debbie! Hope yall get better soon!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you and hubby have that dreaded virus again. My daughter has formed an opinion that everyone has Covid... even those of us who don't know it and have no symptoms. She says everyone is complaining about being so damn tired... and even with no other symptoms, it could be Covid. I laughed, but I guess it could be true. We still wear our masks when out and about and will continue to do so (if not for our own sake, then possibly for someone else' - or the flu). Get well Debbie!
ReplyDeleteSending you lots of hugs. Get well soon xoxox
ReplyDeleteI was hoping that you would have a milder one, but no luck there. Take care and get well soon. Gorgeous sunset.

Take care Debbie.
ReplyDeleteYour Covid experience sounds brutal. Disappointing how vaccinated people can get it, and get it more than once, and it is not very mild for you, all of which we were promised if vaccinated, at the beginning. Be well soon.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I am so sorry you have Covid again. I pray you will get over this version soon. I know even vaccinated people can still get it but hopefully the vaccinated don't end up on ventilators. Sending get well wishes to both you and hubby.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are going through this once again, prayers that you will be feeling better very soon.
ReplyDeleteYour quote is great with your pretty sunset.
Praying for you and Chuck, Debbie.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset.
That is a beautiful sunset.
ReplyDeleteI hope you both start feeling better soon.
All the best Jan
Drats that you can't take the antiviral. Hope lots of chicken soup will help. Prayers said to get well fast! Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteTake care
ReplyDeleteWhoa- so sorry to hear you've been hit with it again despite your efforts to protect yourself. Wishing you a speedy recovery. I heard it is good to take electrolytes when you are well for a week to replace minerals lost from being sick. Keep us posted and get well soon.
ReplyDeleteGlad for the update and hope you both are better soon.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you and hubs are feeling well enough to get out a bit. Hoping the worst behine you both.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! I'm sorry you've had to suffer through this. I've heard of Paxlovid helping other people I know. My nephew is a nurse and caught COVID despite being vaccinated. He said it was like the WORST flu he'd ever had.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to see in your recent pots that you and our hubby recovered from Covid. It can be so dangerous. My husband had it in June, and it was a bad one. He was on Plaxlovid, and it really helped shorten his recovery time. We had all our vaccinations except for this last one. He also got it in June. Gosh, it is unpredictable.
ReplyDeleteYour sunset photo is spectacular, and I had to have it.
Blessings and hugs!
