I had a visit from a blogger who does not generally comment on my blog
She shared these 12 Summer Questions on her blog, and I thought they were fun.
1. Best Bathing Spot ~ We have beautiful beaches here in New Jersey,
but the best bathing spot is right here, in my backyard pool.
2. Best Excursion Destination ~ This one was difficult, but I think it may be Niagara Falls, Canada.
3. Best Picnic Basket ~ French Bread, cheese, grapes, nuts, cut up fresh vegetables and sweet tea.
reading poolside or under a tree.
5. Best Music On A Summer Evening ~ Anything on my ITunes.
6. Best On The Grill ~ Chicken Kabobs and foil packets of potatoes.
11. Best Summer Garment ~ Capri pants and light gauze fabric shirts.
Hello Debbie,
ReplyDeleteGreat questions and your replies are great too.
I like your summer bird, the tomato looks delicious.
Take care, have a happy day!
What a beautiful pool! That would be my favorite place to go swimming as well!
ReplyDeleteI need a swim in the pool with Rita’s Ice.

Love Titti’s blog!
ReplyDeleteInteresting answers. The Bluebird is a beauty alright! Love the look of that salad too.
I use to read books all the time but have in the past few years quit reading, I guess my free time is either making crafts or playing games on my kindle or on the internet.
ReplyDeleteI think you have to change the Rita's Ice that is NOT ice cream :)
You know I love that hummingbird shot :)
rita's has soft serve custard that they combine with ice, it's called a gelati!!
ReplyDeleteOh! Lovely you liked my post and shared with us 12 Summer Questions :)
ReplyDeleteThe weather is still very hot and I wish I had a pool these days...
Love from Titti
Debbie that is such a cute picture of you and Chuck--- did I get that right-- that's your husband's name right? Love your cute Capri outfit. Got my better homes magazine yesterday! This was a fun post--- let's see--- on my way to Niagara Falls I could ride the bluebird of happiness to your pretty pool to eat some of those good " taters"!--- while im there I'll watch the hummingbirds dance about around that pretty tree--- and eat some "maters" from your garden! We can put it all in a picnic basket and yes-- we'll listen to yout i-tunes! Ha ha then we'll go get Rita's ice!! What is on your itunes-- what kind of music do you like? I love old classic rock and any pop music from the 50s and 60s and 70s
ReplyDeleteDebbie, your Rita's ice looks like New Orleans 'snowballs'... I really miss those! The Snowball stands pop up all over the city in the summer. Can't imagine why they don't do that here in Dallas. It's hot enough.
ReplyDeleteAnd I too loved that pic of you and hubby! As for reading, it is my biggest activity. I love to read and have tons of books - everywhere. In fact, we're boxing up some now to get rid of (52 years of books do accumulate!)
I love this! Love your Summer Uniform! And your flip flops - always flip flops! Now be careful on that bike! I still remember your fall.....
ReplyDeleteYour pool always looks so inviting.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Nothing like a New Jersey tomato!
