Do You Need A Pick Me Up

Do you need a pick me up right around this time of year?
Put on a mask and visit your local garden center.
A good part of this center is outdoors and if you go on a weekday it won't be crowded.
- COVID acceptable -
It brings me so much joy to walk among the flowers, it will do the same for you.
This place is my favorite,
it is where I buy all of my flowers and the one place I always visit for all that my garden needs.
It is also the place I visit for a pretty vase of flowers and a "pick me up" during the long winter months,
it is always colorful here.

Are you diggin' those moose?

I chatted with one of the employees, explaining to her why I was taking pictures.
That I have spoken to Leslie the owner and she told me I could take pictures any time I wanted to.
I mentioned to her that everything looked so beautiful...
her reply "everything is so picked over,
we are out of so much, I wish you had taken your pictures a few weeks ago".
I was surprised, it all looked so pretty to me!

Their "grab & go" bouquets are always the best!

- there are always flowers for those who want to see them -

  1. That's a really pretty shop. I've done that too. We have a ritzy lawn and garden store here in K.C. I've gone just to "get out" and be around space and pretty plants, hoping I wouldn't buy anything. I always buy something I "didn't know I needed." Linda in Kansas

  4. I can hardly imagine that it could be even more beautiful! I agree that Garden Centers and nurseries are happy places. I am often pleasantly surprised that they don't charge me admission or a photographers fee because I don't buy much. any more.
