I thought we had missed it, I was pretty sure in fact, but we drove to the marina anyway!
The hubs drove quickly, he did not want me to be disappointed.
I would not have been, I always enjoy drives in the car with him.
But there were a lot of "puffy" clouds in the sky and I thought about that second sunset.
The "show" that comes after this one, the one that paints the clouds pink.
I wandered around among the boats, most are out of the water now.
"Tide the Knot" caught my eye...what a clever play on words.
And then it happened...
The sunset after the sunset, I am so happy we hung around for this, it took my breath away!
- beautiful sunsets need cloudy skies -
glorious! 💕

Linda in Kansas
the walls in my home are covered with the pictures i have taken. one wall features sunsets!! taking 40 years to do something is much better than never doing it all. bravo!!
DeleteA very spectacular sunset!
ReplyDeleteHere many boats are out of the water too for the ordinary winter maintenance on the hull.
Have a good Sunday,
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI like the first sunset, but like you said, OH WOW that finale is just gorgeous, the layers in the clouds is something else, good for hubby getting you there to see that!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous, lovely colours in the sky.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Beautiful! You were right. A few minutes after sunset is often the best show! Even better when there are some clouds.
ReplyDeletePerfect timing! Gorgeous. Sweet hubby.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular! These took my breath away too. I actually think a story could be written around these changing clouds. Of course, I am saving these.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs!
