What A Wonderful Weekend

 Friday, felt like pizza, so we decided to take a ride and get our favorite pizza at,
Pete & Elda's
We drove to the Ocean Grove beach, shared zucchini sticks on the way, vegetables are important, right??
then we enjoyed their best thin crusted pizza, with sausage, peppers and onions.
It was so good and we dined by the beach with a perfect view of the ocean.

Afterward, we took the Zinger for a spin.
I rode several miles on the boardwalk, from Ocean Grove to Asbury Park and back.

We happened upon this fence decorated with croched and knitted flowers.
You can see the ocean in the background.


Saturday was National Alpaca Farm Days at my favorite farm...
I went for a 1/2 hour visit, that's a joke that my farm friends will understand.
I sat to knit and I knitted a total of 2 stitches because we were so busy talking and laughing.

Here are a few of my knitting friends, it was so good to see my girls.

We went to a party on Sunday for my great nephews first birthday.





We had a great time and a wonderful, action packed weekend!

    Wow I guess you had a very full weekend. That is neat those crocheted flowers on the fence, so fun to see those unexpected things. It is always good when you get more talking then crafting done when with friends :)

    How do you like the Zinger chair? Where is the control switch? I think my Parkinson's brother needs one like that. LOVE the cake and cookies, with the brown sugar sand. Would the bakery send to Kansas City? Mahalo, Linda in Kansas

      i LOVE my zinger chair for several reasons. i can walk, i just can't walk far. the zinger chair gives me so much freedom and it does not look like a wheelchair. the controls are on the side handles, easy to access. you can see the red "button" on the side handle in the picture. pressing that in, controls your speed depending what you are set on. there are 3 speeds. visit zinger chair.com for all of the information.

      go to etsy.com for cookies. type "birthday cookies" in the search option. there are so many people who make them and ship them everywhere!!

    Hi Debbie, that is the way I love my pizza, too. Sausage, peppers and onions. I have started making my own now, buying the crust ready to bake. I can't eat a whole pizza so my homemade ones are just perfect. Enjoy yourself. Hugs.

      hi ruth, with the covid situation we have only eaten indoors less than a handful of times. taking the pizza to the beach at ocean grove was super fun and a great way to stay out of the restaurant!!

    Your birthday boy is adorable. I enjoyed see your weekend adventure. I do love pizza and we just had some. It is a favorite of mine.
    The Zinger Chair is perfect for a long walk. How nice they have those for us. Of course, it is fun to see photos of the farm and especially of the ladies you enjoy so much. The fence with the Crocheted and knitted flowers is cute.
