Hello Debbie, I agree with Eileen, I believe it's an Eider but they only look like this from July to September. Beautiful captures of the Monarch butterfly. I haven't seen one all year!
That's an odd looking duck...no offense, Ducky! heehee! But I don't think I've ever seen one. I sure hope one of the Monarchs will show up around here. We have SO many butterflies right now. Happy weekend. I hope you're resting and taking it easy!
So many things migrating now, our hummingbird feeder has been busy :) Wow that duck has an interesting bill on it doesn't it, very interesting, fun to find those unusual ones :)
I guess it is the time of year for the Monarchs to migrate. I love how you raise and nurture them. That is an unusual Duck. It is amazing how they look so calm while paddling. Blessings and hugs!

Monarchs are beautiful! We still have a few around. I've never seen a duck like that, but it's very cool looking! Most unusual.
