Fishing...

During a Sunday drive around Lake of the Lilies, 

I noticed this beautiful Egret fishing.

It didn't take long before dinner was served.

That little fish was gone in seconds...

it ruffled it's feathers and took off!


The beautiful River Queen was docked by the Inlet...


and most of the fishing boats were docked for the end of, what I'm sure was, a busy weekend.

It finally cooled off here, but the sun never made an appearance.

    Great captures of the Egret fishing. Love the River Queen and the last photo of the fishing boats is cool.

    I’d like a ride on that River Queen. Those are working boats for sure. Fishers come in all shapes and sizes! Love that feathered one!

    Neat old paddleboat---not sure there are many of those around anymore?? Love that egret with the fish!

    Oh my he is a beauty isn't he, so fun when you can capture a fish in their mouth :) Love the old fashion boats, there is one that goes up and down the Mississippi here too, we need to do that one time :)
