Here are my Critters for this week, more pictures from Great Adventure!
First up, the very beautiful
Brown Bears
They were so playful, so fun to watch...the 'back scratching" techniques were best!
if they prefer.
I really enjoy this drive-thru experience...
you stay in your car, drive at your own pace,
and can spend as much time as you want enjoying and photographing the animals!
These animals look like they are well cared for. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoyed looking at the brown bears at the various zoos we visited. I do like that you can drive through and see them more "up and personal" and spend all the time you want with them in the safety of your car!
ReplyDeletebetty
That must be some place! Great photos too.
ReplyDeleteThose bears look cute…where they are, not along a trail anyone would walk. Scary! Love the roos!
ReplyDeleteHope you’re feeling better?
These are awesome pictures. Deb, I'm hoping you are feeling better.
ReplyDeletemany thanks, i think this is my dear friend louann!! i am still in rehab for my legs, everything else is working well!! i would rather be home but that is not possible right now!!
DeleteAs always fantastic photos. I loved the bear scratching themselves. You get such fantastic pictures. Hope all is going well for you dear friend. Hope you get up and about soon. Sending loving thoughts and hugs!
ReplyDeleteThe kangaroos seem a bit less enthused than the bears! LOL! It must feel good to scratch through that heavy fur. I hope rehab is going well and you can go home sooner rather than later!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh because the bears scratching themselves reminded me of when I have a terrible itch on my back and hubby isn't around, find anything to scratch against :) Hope you will soon be out and about again, capturing more of these great moments!
ReplyDeleteContinued prayers for your healing and strength!
We took a ride to Point today and I saw the Lake of The Lillies. I must have passed it hundreds of times and did not know the name of it. Now I know.
ReplyDeleteglad you found it ruth, it is indeed a hidden treasure!!
DeleteHello Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your critter photos and post. The Wildlife safari looks like fun, I love the bears and the kangaroos. I hope you are feeling better, on the road to recovery! It is always nice to see a post from you, especially with critters. Thanks for linking up and sharing you post. Take care, have a great week ahead.
Hi Debbie, I echo Eileen in wishing for you to feel better real soon. Loved these bear photos and the kangaroos.
ReplyDeleteDebbie - that's neat you got to see the bears scratching! I have never seen that in all the times I have been to a zoo! We see evidence of it here while we are out hiking, but I don't need to see it up close and personal in the wild! Kangaroos are such unique animals!
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your critters post.
ReplyDeleteThose bears photographs are amazing.
Continued healing wishes coming your way ...
All the best Jan
Those animals look very relaxed, the setting looks good for them. The bear is sure enjoying his back scratching.
