My niece sent me this picture of a sunrise in New Zealand.
She lives here.
Ya' gotta love kids these day, their sense of adventure...
She grew up here at the Jersey Shore, decided she wanted to live in New Zealand.
"left on a jet plane" (get it) with her boyfriend on a work visa.
Emily and Juan returned, got married, went back, got their residency...
and soon they will be building their own home.
I am going to ask her to send me some more pictures I can share here,
her pictures are amazing, New Zealand is a really beautiful country.
They will live here forever...I miss her but I am so happy for her!
That is gorgeous! I've always heard New Zealand is a beautiful place. I hope everything goes well for them!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sky! I wish your Niece and her hubby all the best in New Zealand.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a happy day and a great week!
A very beautiful place! And .... New Zealand is the rugby Country!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise! Good for her following her dream!!
ReplyDeleteBetty
That is a beautiful sight.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely for your niece and husband to be building a new home in New Zealand. New Zealand is a beautiful country country in which to live....just across the ditch from me. =)
ReplyDeleteYou have to admire young people who know what they want! Makes me wonder WHY New Zealand? My friend, Carol, lives there and she and I share a love for New Zealand Sauvignon blanc wine! ALL the New Zealand brands are good and they nearly all have 'Bay' in their names. Like Sunshine Bay, Monkey Bay....
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photograph.
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate to visit NZ back in the 70's.
It is a beautiful country and I found everyone so welcoming.
My good wishes to your niece and her husband.
All the best Jan
You may be able to visit eventually, Debbie. It is a beautiful country.
ReplyDeleteIt is great to see kids move on, but at the same time it's so natural to miss them. Our daughter moved to B.C.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to New Zealand. Doubt if that will ever happen. DH and I planned to move to Australia when first married - that never happened either. Our oldest and wife moved to Hawaii for several years - loved it - but ended up moving back here (they do miss it though and may return one day). I hope they do. Oahu was beautiful. Do share pictures of New Zealand. And I hope it's everything they dreamed it would be.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and I hope you might get to go and visit:)
ReplyDeleteThe photo of New Zealand is beyond lovely. I have heard that people love living there. My daughter and her family lived in Australia and sent home beautiful photos from that area too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs For you!
Gorgeous! They certainly do have an adventurous spirit. Much happiness to them xo
ReplyDeleteWow they must really love the area, that sunset is just beautiful. When we traveled around in the Air Force it was neat seeing other places but there was nothing like being back in the states, I hated being so far away from family.
