Saturday Critters ~ 364 ~

I am sharing some pictures I took yesterday of my yard birds.
Good thing they cooperated,
otherwise, I would not have any pictures to share today.

These are just a few of the birds that I am lucky to see daily at my feeders.


This Male Downy Woodpecker clung to this branch for at least 15 minutes.

Other than winking at me, it never moved!

This Male Cardinal landed here and stayed for only a few seconds, 
I was happy to see his crest up.


I am seeing a lot of White Throated Sparrows now...
they come for the winter.
They do not come to the feeders, rather they eat scraps on the ground.


As I stood at the window the Chickadees, Titmouse and Blue Jays came and went also.

  2. Oh it's a fun time to watch the feeders. We put out one more finch feeder this week...we have lots of visitors. I love that sweet Downy. You take the best pics! Happy weekend!

  13. It’s always a blessing to have yard birds, but these days even more so! I saw a junco on our patio today and you would have thought it was as exotic as (say) a flamingo i was so excited.

  16. As always beautiful bird shots. I love the ones of the Male Downy Woodpecker and Male Cardinal. Actually, I love them all. We did put a birdfeeder in our yard due to your inspiration. Right now we have been seeing Mourning Doves and Sparrows. I love having them come. Thanks for sharing these lovely photos.
