Appealing to both the eyes and the nose,
The Stargazer Lily is a flower that never fails to stop passers-by in their tracks.
There was no shortage of these lilies at Longwood Gardens.
If you could stand and watch them go from bud to bloom,
it would probably look a bit like this.
Dramatic, bold and beautiful, their scent is intoxicating.
You could say they are show offs!
This is my very favorite flower...love the smell!

ReplyDeleteOh Debbie my Mom would've LOVED THESE PICTURES, the stargazers were her favorites, she loved them so. You got some great close-ups! Also loved the pictures from Longwood...oh my gosh that place is so gorgeous, so many beautiful flowers to see. I could spend HOURS there making pictures, and I bet you DO!! lol Love the picture of you and hubby sitting by the little waterfall, that's a great one.
