This was our first visit to
Located in Paterson, New Jersey, with an interesting history and culture,
the falls are only a few steps from the parking lot, making it easy for everyone to see them.
It was a cloudy day,
but that did not take away from our enjoyment of the beauty or the mist from the falls.
This was a large, very cool, seating area.

A beautiful mural but I did not understand or agree with the quote.

We stayed for about an hour or so...
they have a really nice picnic area, I would like to come back in the spring for a picnic.
Aren't the old brick buildings beautiful! And the waterfalls are amazing. Nice to get photos of the two of you too! Lots of smiles while you're all bundled up. Have you ever read any of David Rosenfelt's books? He is one of my FAVORITE authors and my husband and I both read every book he writes. Anyway...he writes about Paterson, NJ in every book! Enjoy your day my friend!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful place. Just gorgeous. I can imagine the sound of the water.
ReplyDeleteI looked up that quote about “the weight of the world” and found this... https://www.hopesingssobeautiful.org/index.php/2017/05/17/the-weight-of-the-world-is-love/
Beautiful poem!
Hello, The waterfalls and Autumn colors are beautiful. There is a Great Falls National Park in Virginia and Maryland too. It is always nice to see yours and your hubby's smiling faces in the photos too. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteAwesome place and autumn shots!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous scenes. I can imagine that a person could spend a fair bit of time there.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really interesting place!
ReplyDeleteThe falls are gorgeous! Love the bridge! I would imagine it's wonderful with snow on the ground, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place and you got some really awesome pictures with the changing leaves all around for a beautiful background.
ReplyDeleteWow that is gorgeous, didn't know it was up there. How nice that you didn't have to walk far to see it, seems like everywhere we go I have to hike a mile to see something. It's pretty with the fall color but I bet it is nice in the spring too!
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible place to tour. The bridge with all it's graffiti is quite remarkable too! Thanks for bringing us to the waterfall too it's wonderful.A great park in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collection of photographs, I thought both the waterfalls and Autumn colours looked beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks for link to poem.
All the best Jan
I really loved the photos on this one. I love waterfalls. We do have some here in Utah, but you have to hike to get to them. Therefore, we haven't seen some of them for many years. There are some lovely falls up in Idaho that we have been able to see.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these awesome photos of them. I always love the photos of you two.
Blessings and hugs!
