Lake Of The Lilies

The hubs took me for a ride in the car yesterday...
I have not been out of the house since Sunday
 and I think he thought it was time to air me out and blow the stink off.
It was the perfect day for that as we were experiencing high winds,
upwards of about 50 mph.
First we enjoyed some fresh, hot donuts at the inlet in Point Pleasant,
then took a ride to Lake of the Lilies!
I scored big at the lake, had some great sightings and got some good pictures.

    You certainly did capture some very good photos at the lake, didn't you. Your hubs is a very good man, isn't he. My the Great Blue Heron is a pretty fellow!

    I'm catching up! LOVE the deer you saw and this beautiful Heron too. The light was just right to pick up the blues! What a wonderful time of year to get out with our cameras!
