Saturday Critters ~ 296 ~

I found this family of young mallards at
Lake of the Lilies
Mallards are the most familiar dabbling ducks, juveniles resemble adult females.

  7. I love Mallards. Even the juveniles and females who have less color. They have such distinct feather detail, which your pictures show so well.
