The Philadelphia Flower Show - Part I

The theme for this years show was Flower Power...the year of the hippy, 


Peace,

and Love.










There was a train display...





We went on Friday and the Convention Center was packed.
The show was fun and beautiful but the crowed venue definitely took away from my enjoyment.

    Beautiful ,beautiful flowers and we could all use a good dose of that philosophy right now . But I hear you about the crowds! (Peace and love to all people, but not so many of them at one time ;))).

    I have always wanted to go. I am sure I wouldn't be happy with all of the crowds either. I love the hippy theme.

    I’m like you, I don’t like to go to things like this when there is a big crowd. However, you got some stunning photos of all the displays and I really loved the flowers and am saving a few. I enjoyed the train display. My husband would love to visit this one. He has always wanted to have a train and all the extra things too. I don’t think that will happen due to not having any place to put it.

    Debbie - it must be the theme of the year - resurrecting Woodstock! Our town had a Woodstock theme for its Winter Carnival. Glad you survived the crowds to bring us all of these Spring-y photos!
