Am I the only person who forgot yesterday was Saint Patrick's Day?
I didn't wear green,
I didn't eat corn beef and cabbage and I only realized I had forgotten
about the holiday when we arrived at the beach.
Howe Street Beach
that has an unknown Leprechaun that decorates
the entrance area to this beautiful beach each holiday.
The beach was outstanding, low tide with perfect conditions for finding sea glass.
We did find a little sea glass...
the hubs found the largest piece and the pretty blue piece.
And if I am to be completely honest, he found more pieces of glass than I did.
So I lost our typical "sea glass hunt" contest, that is not an easy one for me to admit!
The shots of the gulls on those old piers are simply outstanding. That surely must be the treasure of your entire day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach scenes! You made me crave summer. :)
ReplyDeleteHello, love the cute St. Patrick's day decor. The views of the ocean and beach are lovely. You found a lot of pretty sea glass. Enjoy your day, have a happy week ahead.
ReplyDeleteFirst off...LOVE SEA GLASS! Nice job. Beautiful beach pics also. Looks so bright and amazing. I did not forget St Patty's day but I did not wear green. I did not leave the house till 5 pm yesterday to run to a friends place then to the barn to feed the horses. AND....back home so I had no worries of the dogs pinching me for not having my green on!
ReplyDeleteLove those colored shells and how nice they do this every holiday.
ReplyDeleteGreat sights!
ReplyDeleteI was there too!!!!!!!!!!! I missed you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun place. I love all of that sea glass, you found some beauties.
ReplyDeleteLove the sea with those old posts Debbie
ReplyDeleteThe seaside scenes are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a perfect day for gorgeous pictures as well.
ReplyDeleteDebbie - I can ALMOST imagine dipping my toes in that water - it looks so inviting. With every blog I read that has such pictures, I am getting hotter and hotter Spring Fever! We did not forget about St. Patrick's Day, primarily since we went to a party - I wore green, too. Sorry you "lost" the sea glass contest, but it seems to me you were both winners with that collection!
ReplyDeleteI’m so happy that you both that you had a day at the beach to look for Sea Glass;. Sorry, you didn’t win fo this one. However, it looks liek you found some good ones. I didn’t forget St. Patrick’s day but we didn’t really celebrate it. I loved the St. Patrick’s Day decorations that are on the beach. It’s funny because I don’t really have very many things for decorating for this holiday in my home. I can’t even find much.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs for you dear friend!
But you get to keep al the pieces, don't you? That's a Win! WIN!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views of the ocean...and the sea glass is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see the decorations the "unknown" person does for that area and bench... I really like the quirkiness and the community-mindedness that goes into that!
ReplyDeleteYes, I too forgot about the day :D)
A beautiful haul of sea glass really, I guess there's only a limited supply and so you both did really well.
Your photos are magnificent, a real feel of being down by the sea. Cheers xx
Oh how fun, love the shamrock they made :) Wow it looks like you enjoyed a wonderful day and that is great all the sea glass you found, even though hubby found more it is still a win win :)
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea ... a shamrock made out of shells ... creative! ( ;
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous beach, lovely photographs.
