It's been cold, cloudy and windy here on the home front...
the wind makes it almost impossible to get good pictures of my little birds.
When I open the window, I am able to stand on the heat vent...which is very nice.

The hubs went outside and cut a lot of the very small branches off the tree, that was helpful.
Most of the leaves are gone from the trees, also very helpful...but this wind is killing me.
- oh the wind -
the birds look like they are sitting on a boardwalk ride.

Up and down, up and down, I watch and wonder if they enjoy that.

They are all so gorgeous aren't they? In this set I think I like the male house finch the best tho, something about him! I just don't see how the little birds SURVIVE out in the cold and the rain and the wind and sleet and snow and all---but somehow they do! They seem so delicate, but they must be stronger than they appear as they were created to live and grow out there I guess! Hope y'all have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous set of pictures. You are very fortunate to have these regular visitors to your garden.
ReplyDeleteOh they look like they are cold and trying to stay warm to me...all fluffed up and beautiful.
